The Australian Salsa Classic Welcomes, Juan Carlos Ospina Sanchez

Initiating himself into dancing in 2001 Dance Co Sondeluz in the city of Cali, Colombia. Juan devoted himself to deeply studying all mainstream and traditional Latin American rhythms, the foxtrot, bolero, paso doble and others along side Salsa. 

Passionate about spreading his craft, Juan Co-Founded Stilo y Sabor  Dance School alongside World Champions Ricardo Murillo and Vivivana Vargas in 2005 where he continued with the same line of work extending the practice of dance rhythms to the study of national and international salsa such as the style of Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, New York and Cali style Salsa.

Along the way:

• Fourth place on1 category in the World Salsa Championships held in the city of Cali with a total participation of 160 couples dance. September 2009.
•  Fifth place in the category cabaret world salsa championship held in the city of Cali with a total participation of 160 couples dance. September 2009.
• Second place in national championship Colombia salsa congress held in the city of Medellin. Category Cabaret. July 2009.
• Fourth place in the national championship of Colombia salsa congress held in the city of Medellin. Category ON1. July 2009.
• Third place in the national championship a couple sauce made in the city of Medellin. August 2008.
• Participation in the salsa contest couple "the golden shoe. August 2008.
• First place in the qualifiers to the World Orlando - Florida held at the World Salsa Congress in Los Angeles. May 3008
• Second place in partner in the contest organized by the club sauce Jose. July 2007

Juan will be debuting 2 New Choreographies created exclusively for the Australian Salsa Classic 2010 and bringing Cali - Colombia Style Salsa to Sydney through His Immersion Courses!
